Cerebral Palsy Workshop

PCBRs Cerebral Palsy Training was a three week workshop designed to teach parents and community volunteers how to use appropriate paper technology (APT), implement proper recycling methods and construct paper assistive devices (AD) for CP children. Using recyclable cardboard materials, parents and community volunteers were taught to construct assistive devices (AD). Cardboard is the chosen material because it is commonly found in most villages and can be easily obtained by families of CP children. APT uses cardboard to create incredibly sturdy and durable devices. There was also a two week workshop for PCBR staff members and field workers to learn how to effectively handle CP children.
